D.N.A — Daemonic Navarch of the Abyss — is a rogue-like dungeon crawler where every death is just another cycle. Players take on the role of Chimera, a creature born from the regenerative flesh of the ancient god, capable of endlessly reviving from her own defeat. Armed with machines designed to absorb the power of fallen enemies, Chimera descends through abyssal dungeons, claiming the very strength of what she fights in the hope of one day reaching the heart of the deity that swallowed the seas. 

Chimera is no classic hero: she is a piece of the very creature she must destroy, shaped to turn against her own source. Her regenerative power, inherited directly from the entity, makes her the only being capable of surviving long enough in the abyss to hope to end it. Every run, every death, every rebirth brings her one step closer to the heart of the oceanic flesh — and to the truth of what she really is.

Our art direction draws directly from Lovecraftian cosmic horror: an ancient god lurking in the depths, an omnipresent flesh that blurs the line between ocean and monster, abyssal creatures that are already terrifying by nature. To balance out that horror, our artists deliberately leaned into a strange contrast between scary and cute — a dissonance that makes Chimera and her world all the more memorable, and unsettling.

The game was developed in Unity, with a classic 3D production pipeline combining Maya for modeling/rigging and Adobe for texturing. The team collaborated using GitHub for version control, Discord for daily communication, and Google Drive for asset and documentation sharing.
